It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Chevrier on October 8, 2026, at the age of 89. She was the devoted and beloved wife of Robert Chevrier, with whom she shared 61 years of affection and companionship. She was the loving and cherished mother of Andrée, Robert Jr. (Lise Chamberland), and Louise (Natalie Leger), and the proud grandmother of Martin (Michal), Stéphanie (François), and Émilie. She leaves behind her brother, Hector Soublière (Raymonde Larocque). She is also remembered by her cherished circle of long-standing friends whose decades of friendship meant so much to her.
Denise was the anchor of our family. Her greatest pride was the close-knit family that she and Robert had built. She poured her heart into raising her children and building a warm, joyful home. She was happiest when spending time with her family, and she treasured every get-together and celebration.
Denise was full of life and a woman of sharp intellect and remarkable savvy, who possessed a keen wisdom that guided her through life.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Melini Gupta and the staff of the May Court Hospice for their dedication and compassionate care.
A Funeral service will be held in the Sacred Space at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue) on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive condolences beginning at 9:00 a.m. A reception will be held following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Denise to the May Court Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
