It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of André Ouellette, who passed away on April 11, 2026 at the age of 91, in Ottawa.
André was born on October 20, 1934 in Montréal to Roméo Ouellette and Yvonne Blanchard. He spent his life working in the Canadian Air Force (Warrant Officer) and then went on to a career as an electronics technician for Algonquin College. He enjoyed gardening (greenhouse hydroponics), bee keeping, and nature.
He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Joyce Fournier, his daughters: Johanne and Carole Ouellette, his grandchildren: Matthew Hotte, Iana and Camila Saavedra Ouellette. He is predeceased by his late wife Ghislaine Campeau and brother Roger Ouellette.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at 1pm on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 at Beechwood Funeral Home (280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa), followed by a reception from 2-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Perley Health Foundation are welcome, in his memory.
