Joseph Patrick Corkery

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Patrick Corkery, son of Alice and Earl Corkery.

Joseph was the beloved husband of Valeda Babineau and stepfather of Phil Babineau.

He will be remembered by his siblings Sharron (Raymond), Patsy, Genny (Dave), Mike, Timmy, Bobby, April and Colleen, along with his extended family and friends.

Joseph was predeceased by his brother Danny. Colleen’s late husband, Franco, is also remembered with love.

A CELEBRATION OF JOSEPH’S LIFE A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa, ON K1l 8a6) on October 2 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a procession to the gravesite.

Following the service, family and friends are welcome to gather for lunch at Chances R, at Montreal Road and St. Laurent Boulevard (540 Montréal Rd, Ottawa, ON K1K 0T9). A reduced menu will be available, and guests will be asked to cover their own meals and beverages.
