While we never met, I feel like we did because Bob and I have been friends for some time. Moreover, our spouses have been in declining health for the past few years and we have tried to help each other through this journey. Bob, I hope that you and your family can take comfort from the great memories accumulated over the years and that your sorrow is soon replaced by pride and the warmth that only comes from love. We extend our sincerest condolences to Bob, family and friends. We fondly remember from our younger days our MOC hikes with Pat, time together at McGill and cherish the reunions held in more recent years.

Bob and family – our deepest thoughts to you at this difficult time. We’ll miss Pat’s broad interests and pleasant smile. We’ll be there in spirit on Wednesday as we are away from the area currently.

I am very saddened to learn of Pat’s passing. Although I had not seen her in many years, I remember her as a truly special person — warm, thoughtful, and always genuinely interested in others.

She devoted so many years of her life to caring for people as a family physician, and I can only imagine how many lives she touched throughout her career.

She will clearly be remembered with great affection by so many whose lives she touched.
