Dennis Hum

Dennis passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, with his loving family by his side at the age of 68.

He is lovingly remembered by his brothers Phillip (Suzan) and Alex; and by his dearest friend Thone Vongviset and her extended family.

He was a wonderful and devoted uncle; and he adored Thone’s children and grandchildren.

Dennis loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially enjoying the celebration of special occasions with Thone and her family.

His hobbies included doing renovations to his home, customizing his cars and following his favourite sports teams Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Rest in Peace Dennis. We were blessed to have you in our lives.

Family and friends are invited to Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), for a Visitation on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 9 a.m. until the time of the Interment 11 a.m. in Beechwood Cemetery.
