Laura Kavoliunas

Rest in peace, Laura. You taught me to live a full life and fight for every day. Your courage and determination are a lasting lesson.

All who knew Laura know she was an incredibly smart, determined, strong, independent woman who was rarely seen without a big smile on her face. She had a love for life and especially her dog Miss Molly, her family, friends and Godchildren. Laura was a valued member of the dog dock jumping community and will surely be deeply missed. This woman was the definition of a true friend and may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. I am so thankful to have known her.

I’m so saddened to hear of Laura’s passing. She worked with me at Systematix for many years and was a great addition to our team. She was smart, kind and fun. Her face lit up anytime she spoke of Molly, it was clear how much she loved her dog. She fought hard, may she now rest in peace. My condolences to all of the family and friends she left behind.

It has been both sad and shocking to hear this news. I worked with Laura many years ago in Barcelona and she was a fantastic person to know and work with. It’s far too easy to not spend time with those that we value, so please ensure you all keep in touch with your loved ones and remember the contribution that Laura made to your lives.

This is very sad news. Laura was a wonderful person. I enjoyed her posts of Molly’s adventures.
Laura mentored me as I started my consulting career, offering me encouragement and great advice.

We went to High School so long ago, I as well went to Mc Gill but ahead of you as I was born in 65, and grew up in the same neighborhood, so very sad to hear you have passed, sending all my deepest condolences to the Family.

Laura was a warm, funny, and outstanding person. I was so fortunate to get to know her in the last couple of years. She inspired me in such a huge way and her parting has left a hole in my heart. May she rest in peace

I knew Laura throughout primary and secondary school as well as Cegep on the south shore of Montreal.

Though we had fallen out of touch for several decades, we were fated to reconnect post pandemic. She was always remarkably steadfast and unwavering in her friendships. So it is with profound sadness that we experience this great loss of her presence amongst us.

I will never forget you Laura- may you soar serenely to the heavens and onto your next journey. Until we meet again.

To Jean, Michael and extended Kavoliunas family, though the loss of Laura comes with an unbearable grief- please know that Laura had the biggest of impacts in all our lives and we were so fortunate to have her even for a little while. Thank you for allowing us to share in this celebration of her life. You are all in my prayers. May God keep you and comfort you always.

From the moment I moved into the condo building, Laura made me feel welcome. I still remember her kindly offering to help unload the car during the move. She was always willing to lend a hand.

It was always a pleasure to see Laura and her beautiful dog, Molly, and to stop and chat with her.

She will be greatly missed.

I was very saddened to learn of Laura’s passing. I have known Laura for 24 years as a fellow owner in our condo building. We weren’t close friends, but we shared many pleasant and interesting conversations at condo events and occasionally at each other’s and other owners’ homes. I will always remember her as a friendly presence in our building with her beloved dog, Molly. My sincerest condolences to her family.

It is with great sadness that my husband and I learned of Laura’s passing.
I first met her during a project in Barcelona, where we quickly became friends. I invited her to our home, and from that moment on, a wonderful friendship developed. Over the years, we visited each other regularly and shared memorable holidays together.
Laura was a truly remarkable person – sharp-minded and thoughtful, she always had an open ear for others and could light up any room with her laughter.
