Jim was so giving, loving and the best friend anyone could ever ask for. He was so considerate, accommodating, always agreeable to anything anytime with us. A true gentleman and we will certainly miss him forever. Really enjoyed our holidays together.

Marina, Mark, Allison and Lori, nothing we say can ease your sorrow. The precious memories of your husband/ father can never be taken from you. Hold onto those as they are infinite.
See you at the service tomorrow.

It is very hard to express our sadness and especially wishes of courage to a special family at this moment of grief. He was our uncle and even though we have lost touch over the years, we remember him as a very handsome, polite, respectful and well mannered man who absolutely loved his family. Jean would talk to us about his mom's struggles and his brothers and through it all as they became strong individuals. You could see Jean's love and respect for Paulette, Guy, Jacques and Michel. When we first met Jacques and Marina it was for my baby shower and not long after Julie's christening in 1982 at Christmas time in Gatineau. My first thought was how much Philippe looked a little bit like Jacques (except for the mustache), thick hair, blue eyes and a great sense of humour. We remember him talking to us about his career in the military, the places he'd been and the beautiful scenery of Alberta. We had gone for a visit at your house in Kanata in 1985 so Paulette could meet her great-grand children, Julie and Eric. Our only regret is not to have visited more often when we were in Gatineau / Ottawa so we could've gotten to know more about your family. Jacques may be physically gone but through stories and memories of his childhood, his first date with Marina, his wedding, his career, the birth of his children and grand children, vacations, he will be remembered always. Out thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love Gisèle & Philippe Leullier
