It is with sadness that the family announces the death of ‘Rhéas’ Joseph Emery Tremblay on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Thérèse Blais and the son of the late Rose-Anna Barrette and the late Alphonse Tremblay. He is survived by his son: Gilles (Julie), his grandchildren Sébastien (Jenna), Jean-Philippe (Jessica) and Yanick (Jessy); his great-grandchildren: Jase, Beckett and Jaxon; as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Alphonse, Sylvio, Aurèle and his sister Maria.
Our family would like to thank the medical team at the Montfort Hospital for the care they provided.
A memorial service will be celebrated in the Sacred Space at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. The family will be receiving condolences from 9:30 a.m. in Beechwood's Sacred Space.
