Malcolm (Mac) John Campbell passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 83 in Ottawa. Malcolm was born to Arthur Campbell and Clarice Overton in New Liskeard Ontario.

Malcolm is survived by his wife Linda, his children Bruce (Susan Bantin) and David, his grandson Connor, his brothers Angus (Shirley) and Doug (Sheila) as well as his sisters Barbara Campbell Graves (Bill) and Dorothy Vertolli. Predeceased by his brother Gordon (Carmel) and sister Pam Jibb (Laurence). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His contributions to his community were numerous. Worked at Northern Telephone Ltd for 35 years, during which a 1-year contract with Bell Canada had him work in Saudi Arabia, owned Marlin Travel Agency in New Liskeard for 10 years, belonged to the Legion Branch 87 in Kirkland Lake, the Porcupine Masonic Lodge, the New Liskeard Lions Club.

He loved his family, his travelling adventures to 70 countries, his interests in history, geography and technology. He will be remembered for his kindness and love of life.

Cremation and arrangements have taken place at Beechwood Funeral Services in Ottawa.

Malcolm Campbell's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Many fond memories of Mac, especially back in the Northern Telephone days when Mac tried so hard to make a technician out me. He had plenty of patience and we had a few laughs. Linda, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
