Holly Heng, aged 77, passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on December 13, 2022.

She was born on March 14, 1945 in Canton, China. Holly Heng, the loving wife of Kok Toon Heng, sister to Quoc Vinh Truong, Bich Le Truong and Raymond Parent (in law), mother to Yuan-Yen Heng, Martin Chow (in law), Yuan-Ting Johnson and Mark Johnson (in law), and grandmother to Darren Johnson and Reilly Johnson.

Holly had a passion for eating tasty food, taichi, and most of all she loved to show her love for others through her cooking.  She also enjoyed travelling the world with her husband Kok-Toon Heng and other family members.  Later in life,  spending time in the summer with her grandkids at cottages gave her great joy.

Holly had a strong will to live life to the fullest and that helped her face her challenges head-on. She cared about others and helped them overcome their own personal challenges, leaving no one behind.  She was a cheerleader to those around her and lived a full and beautiful life.

The Canadian Cancer Society has helped Holly a lot throughout her journey.  If you feel compelled to send flowers or white gold, please consider donating instead to the Canadian Cancer Society.
