It is with great sadness that we announce the passing Mr. Gilles Fugère of Rockland, Ontario on September 12, 2023 at the age of 75.
Gilles will be forever remembered by his wife Gail Fugère (nee Gaudet). He was predeceased by his parents, Denis and Jeanne d’Arc (nee Gagnon). His memory is cherished by his beloved daughter Sarah Jeanne. He will be missed by his sister Diane Fugère Lamarre (the late Jean) and his brothers Serge (Huguette), Claude and Éric. He will also be missed by his many friends.
Gilles loved life and was a RCAF veteran (1966-1988). A Celebration of Life will be held at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1-3pm with burial to follow in the National Military Cemetery at Beechwood.

Son épouse Gail Fugère (née Gaudet) se souviendra toujours de lui. Fils de feu Denis Fugère et de feu Jeanne d’Arc (nee Gagnon) Fugère. Sa mémoire est chérie par sa fille bien-aimée Sarah Jeanne. Il laisse sa soeur Diane Fugère- Lamarre feu Jean Lamarre et ses frères Serge (Huguette), Claude and Éric Charnonneau. Il laisse aussi plusieurs neveux et nieces, cousins et cousins ainsi que plusieurs de ses bons ami(e)s.
On se souviendra de Gilles comme un homme qui aimait la vie. Il était un vétéran de L’Aviation Royal du Canada (1966-1988). Une Célébration de la Vie se tiendra au Centre commémoratif national Beechwood le vendredi 13 octobre 2023 de 13 h à 15 h. L'inhumation suivra au Cimetière militaire national Beechwood.
