My heart felt condolences. This is a loss like no other. Elsie was a dear friend, an older sister and even my mother at times. Elsie helped me through many of life’s obstacles. We laughed, we cooked, we crafted, although I watched most often, and sometimes cried. Lots of laughter in her company! Elsie was so helpful to others. And everything had to be just right, whether it was a big dinner party or a kitchen party. Thank you Elsie for driving me to my audition, which gave me my wonderful career as a musician in the Canadian Armed Forces. Your love and support never wavered. Thank you my dear friend. You will alway have a spot in my heart.
Love, Jo-Ann

Sincere condolences to Steve and the entire family on Elsie's recent passing. We have been friends for several years having met in Beta Sigma Phi. Elsie loved life and was a kind and generous lady. She will be fondly remembered by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. " May The Lord watch between me and thee while we are absent one from the other".

As Joanne above commented I could echo her commentsI have known the stadler familyfor over 50 yrs and like Joanne Elsie and I have laughed and cried many times Elsie had a heart of gold until her dementia would not allow her to do so. Like many she tried to teach us many crafts especially sewing but some of us just don’t have it I cherish dearly the quilted items she made for me She has left this world but will live long in the hearts who loved her

A wonderful friend and sorority sister. Every day I see something that reminds me of Elsie, her wonderful sense of humour, and her love of life. Her last few years were not happy ones but to Steve and her children I say “treasure all the wonderful memories they will see you through this difficult time”.
