Our dear mom died peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2023, in her 97th year. Predeceased by parents William and Roxy McFall, and brothers, Ellwood, Alvin, Clayton and Bill.
Beloved wife of the late John Donald Whyte (Don), to whom she was married for 55 years. Loving mother to Clayton, Ellwood and his wife, Mimi; Garth and his wife Carolyn; Grant and his wife Sue. Proud “Granny” of Stephen, Christine, Emily, Katherine, Cameron, Curtis, Cortney, Sydnie and Isaac. Her great-granddaughter, Collins, was born a few months ago.
Honouring Barbara’s wishes, our family will have a private gathering following cremation at Beechwood cemetery in Ottawa. The family sends a special thank you to the wonderful and compassionate staff at Garden Terrace Long Term Care Home.
