Pamela Moore Cariou (she/elle)
Pamela moved to Ottawa to complete her studies in Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Ottawa and has proudly called the city home for many years. After earning her BA, she completed graduate certificates in dispute resolution and human resources and has proudly holds a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Her journey in human resources has been defined by a deep commitment to strategic partnerships and professional growth.
Pamela joined Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services in 2025 as the Manager of Human Resources. Prior to joining Beechwood, Pamela worked at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). Throughout her career, she has become a trusted resource for staff and leadership alike, specializing in process improvement and employee relations.
She feels truly honoured to support her colleagues and the broader community, taking great pride in fostering a workplace culture built on empathy and professional excellence. In her spare time, Pamela enjoys spending quality time with her family.
