DESCRIPTION:Join Us for the 9th Annual No Stone Left Alone Ceremony  On Tuesday\, November 3\, 2026\, at 10:30 a.m.\, the National Military Cemetery at Beechwood will proudly host the 9th Annual No Stone Left Alone Ceremony\, a powerful act of remembrance that brings together students\, members of the Canadian Armed Forces\, and the community in honour of Canada’s fallen.  During the ceremony\, students and participants will place poppies on the headstones of every soldier across the cemetery\, ensuring that no one who served our nation is ever forgotten. This moment of reflection and gratitude bridges generations\, connecting today’s youth with the legacy of courage\, sacrifice\, and service that defines our country.   Date: Tuesday\, November 3\, 2026 Time: 10:30 a.m. Location: National Military Cemetery of Canada\, Beechwood Cemetery\, 280 Beechwood Avenue\, Ottawa  We extend a special invitation to all teachers and schools across Ottawa to take part in this meaningful educational experience. Participation offers students a tangible way to understand the importance of remembrance and the impact of those who gave their lives for Canada.  Together\, let’s ensure that no stone is left alone\, and no sacrifice is forgotten.  This ceremony and event are proudly supported by the 76 Communications Regiment. DESCRIPTION:The Pillar Society proudly continues its tradition of remembrance at the CSIS National Memorial Cemetery\, honouring all who have served Canada\, both at home and abroad\, in military and civilian capacities.  We gather to pay tribute to those whose service was marked by commitment\, courage\, and sacrifice\, and to remember especially the tens of thousands of Canadians who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars\, the Korean War\, Afghanistan\, and in peacekeeping and special missions around the world over the past century.  Their legacy endures in the freedoms we enjoy today\, and it is our solemn duty to ensure they are never forgotten.

SUMMARY:No Stone Left Alone - NCR Girl Guides Ceremony 2026
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Girl Guides of Canada play a meaningful role in remembrance through the No Stone Left Alone Ceremony\, honouring those who served and sacrificed for our country. Together with their leaders\, the Guides will place poppies on the headstones of every soldier in the Veterans Section of the National Military Cemetery of Canada\, ensuring that no one is forgotten.   Date: Saturday\, November 7\, 2026 Time: 2:00 p.m. Location: Veterans Section (Section 27\, near the tank)\, National Military Cemetery of Canada\, 280 Beechwood Avenue\, Ottawa  The formal ceremony will last approximately 20 minutes. Participants are asked to dress for the weather and to follow all Girl Guides of Canada public health protocols in place at that time.  During both World Wars\, Girl Guides were active contributors to Canada’s wartime efforts\, knitting socks and scarves for soldiers overseas\, rolling bandages\, writing letters\, and collecting supplies to support families on the home front. Their legacy of service continues today through acts of remembrance like this one\, connecting generations in gratitude and respect.  The No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation is dedicated to honouring and remembering Canada’s veterans. This ceremony offers young Canadians a powerful\, hands-on experience that fosters understanding\, appreciation\, and remembrance of those who have served and the sacrifices made for freedom.
