DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday\, September 20\, 2025 Time: 10:45 a.m. Location: RCMP National Memorial Cemetery at Beechwood\, 280 Beechwood Avenue\, Ottawa Join us at the RCMP National Memorial Cemetery at Beechwood\, an honoured place of reflection within the National Cemetery of Canada\, as the RCMP Veterans\, Ottawa Division\, host the Annual Police and Peace Officers Memorial Service.  This solemn gathering pays tribute to those who served with distinction and to the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.  The service offers an important opportunity for the RCMP community\, peace officers\, families\, and the public to stand together\, honour the memory of fallen officers\, and reaffirm our collective commitment to preserving their legacy of service and courage.  This is a public event\, and all are encouraged to attend as we reflect on the profound impact these men and women have had on our communities and our country.  ————— Cérémonie commémorative annuelle des agents de police et de la paix au Cimetière commémoratif national de la GRC à Beechwood  Date : Dimanche 20 septembre 2026 Heure : 10 h 45 Lieu : Cimetière commémoratif national de la GRC à Beechwood\, 280 avenue Beechwood\, Ottawa Joignez-vous à nous au Cimetière commémoratif national de la GRC à Beechwood\, un lieu de réflexion privilégié au sein du Cimetière national du Canada\, alors que les anciens combattants de la GRC\, Division d’Ottawa\, tiennent la Cérémonie annuelle en mémoire des agents de police et de la paix.  Cette cérémonie solennelle rend hommage à celles et ceux qui ont servi avec distinction\, ainsi qu’aux agents tombés dans l’exercice de leurs fonctions. Le service offre une occasion importante à la communauté de la GRC\, aux agents de la paix\, aux familles et au public de se rassembler\, d’honorer la mémoire des agents décédés et de réaffirmer notre engagement collectif à préserver leur héritage de service et de courage.  Il s’agit d’un événement public\, et toutes et tous sont invités à y assister afin de réfléchir à l’impact profond que ces hommes et ces femmes ont eu sur nos collectivités et sur notre pays.
