Due to government-imposed restrictions related to COVID-19, attendance will be restricted to a limited number of individuals, personally invited by the family. You are welcome to attend the service through a livestream broadcast. Click on the above tab to register.

Unexpectedly, Nathan leaves to mourn his parents, Susan and Robert, as well as his brothers Joshua (Caroline) and Travis (Kerry). He was a fun and caring uncle to Jeremy, Olivia, Jacob and Abigail.

Nathan was a generous, kind and loving person. He smiled with his eyes and loved with his huge heart. He spoke little words but when he did; he caught everyone’s attention with his charm, wit and humor.

Nathan was predeceased by his grandparents, Alma and John Young, Iris and Emerson Moore.

Nath will be missed by several aunts and uncles, cousins and close friends. Diesel Dog will surely miss his skateboard walks and his car rides. Nathan was a long time member of the Liuna Local 527 Union.

There will be no visitation at this time.  A celebration of life will be held in Nathan’s honour on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 1 p.m. in Sacred Space at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services in Ottawa. Attendance will be subject to the current COVID-19 restrictions in place. Click on the above tab to register to attend the livestream broadcast.

For guests invited by the family to attend Nathan's Celebration of Life, please wear or bring your sunglasses.

Please consider in memory of Nathan, a donation to a charity that supports drug and alcohol recovery or the Ottawa Humane Society.

                                              Forever loved, never forgotten

If I only had five minutes Nathan the day you passed away,

I would have had the time to tell you how much you meant to me.

And all the things I needed to say. Or, that you were the best that anyone could be.

I never got to tell you often enough how much you meant to me.

Or that you were the best that anyone could be.

The last time I talked to you I wish I would have known.

I would have said I love you and kept you here at home.

IF I ONLY HAD FIVE MINUTES,

                                 THE DAY YOU PASSED AWAY…

I would hold on to you with a real tight hug.

I would not have wanted you to go.

I would have told you that I will miss you, more than you will know.

Now God has called upon you, it’s time to get your wings,

To leave this pain behind you and enjoy heaven’s beautiful things.

So, wait for me in heaven, do not let me come alone.

The day the angels come for me,

Please be there to bring me home.

We loved you yesterday, we love you today and all our tomorrows.

Nathan you brought so much love and joy to our family from the time we brought you home to our last visit with you when you loaded your laundry in my car, ” Have a couple loads here Mom”. Yes Nathan, 6 loads later you left with clean socks and underwear”. Rest in peace our beautiful son.
