I have very many fond memories of Matt at RMC and very early in my career in Ottawa.

RIP my friend and comrade. You will be missed by all those you have met.

It's been many years, old friend. But I have strong and warm memories of our days together in 2 Squadron at CMR. Rest in peace, and may your family find comfort in the lasting and positive impact you had in so many lives.

I first met Matt at the Flying field, where he would touch and goes with his Trojan, I was new to the sport and crashed a lot. Time went on and occasionally when I sent a plane in the air I could see Matt watching me, he was always willing to praise or provide guidance. Thanks to Matt I'm a better pilot and will always think of him when I fly, especially with his old Trojan.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tori and the family. Although we did not know him personally we know his babygirl Victoria and she is quite the young woman. We love you Tori and are here for you

I met Matt at Millennium Park where we flew our radio controlled planes. He quickly became a friend and a mentor. He taught me a lot and helped me become better at out hobby. I miss you Matt.

My deepest condolences to your family. Your friendship and help over the years will be missed and never forgotten. You taught me many aspects of flying and always kept telling me that I was getting better and I had the ability to do things I didn't think I could with my planes. I will always remember your constant touch-and-go's (or bumps and jiggles as we would joke about). You inspired us all at the field and always showed us new stuff. Rest in peace my friend.
