It is with great sadness that the family of Nolan  Dunstan John announce his passing on June 9th, 2021.

Nolan will be missed by his loving wife of 41 years Winniefred, his daughter Semone, grand children Rukiya and William. He's also survived by his mother Veronica John, siblings Michael St. Louis, Ann Lynch, Celia Robinson, Juliet John, Jean John, Eulin John, Pauline John, Emmanuel John, Agnes John, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is predeceased by his father Augustus John, brothers Glenford John and Raphael John, sisters Maria John, Catherine John and Sarah  John.

We would like to say a special thank you to Dr. John Sinclair and the neurosurgery team at the Civic Hospital as well as the staff on F7 for their great care and compassion of Nolan.


In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in memory of Nolan be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Children at Risk, Ottawa – Supporting Autistic Children & Their Families.

Life is the greatest gift that God has given us. Death is only a bridge towards eternal life with God. Certainly, Heaven is rejoicing for Nolan’s soul has finally reach his true home.
