The family announces with heavy hearts the passing of Dwight Edward Brylikowski on March 16, 2026, at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 70. Dwight lost his short battle with an aggressive cancer.
Predeceased by his father, Edward Brylikowski, his mother Lillian Chevrier and his sister Rose-Marie Brylikowski.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Connie Nielsen. Also left to mourn are his brothers, Wayne Brylikowski (Patty), Edward “Eddy” Brylikowski (Rejeanne), Robert Brylikowski (Diane) and sister Kimberly-Anne Chevrier (Ron Wilson), sisters-in-law Debbie Corbett (Jim) and Kristine Leider, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dwight had a soft heart and loved their many family pets. He was surely met at the Rainbow Bridge with much love and wagging tails.
An Interment will take place at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa) on Friday, August 28th, 2026, at 11 a.m., followed by a Reception at Beechwood Memorial Centre.
Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
