Joanne passed away peacefully at home on April 4th, 2020. She leaves behind her loving father, Pierre Verdon (Cheryl Mifflen), sister Roxanne Laporte, brother-in-law Marty Laporte, and her two nieces Jessica and Tracey-Anne Laporte. Predeceased by her mother Claire Verdon (Fortin) in 2005. Joanne will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was known for her beautiful smile and hugs, as well as her willingness to help in everyday tasks. She had a love of puzzles and magazines, and above all her family. Due to Covid, a private memorial service will take place at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Ave). The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at ICSS for their amazing care and support throughout the years.
