OFFICIAL UPDATE: National Memorial Ride 2020
Due to Covid-19 restrictions on social gatherings, the National Memorial Ride (NMR 2020) has been cancelled for this year. However, Beechwood National Military Cemetery has graciously agreed to conduct the annual Service of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony to commemorate Canada’s Fallen military servicemen and women, virtually via LIVE link on the Beechwood National Military Cemetery Facebook page. \
Please understand, The National Memorial Ride Committee will not be organizing any rides, rally points or social gatherings of spectators, as this continues to be prohibited by the Government of Ontario and the City of Ottawa.
As the current restrictions limit social gatherings to less than ten people, there will be no spectators allowed at the NMR Ceremony this year.
We ask our friends in the veteran and military community, as well as veteran supporters in Motorcycle Clubs to respect this decision to help maintain the health and safety of patrons as well as the credibility and reputation of both Beechwood Cemetery and the National Memorial Ride. Please understand that disrespecting these restrictions could lead to fines for Beechwood Cemetery and/or patrons as well as jeopardize our ability to continue the National Memorial Ride in the future.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
