It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Yvon Michel LeFebvre on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the age of 66. Taken from us too soon, Charles will be dearly missed by his wife Marie, his children Christine (Christopher), Andrea, and Joseph, his mother Marie LeFebvre, as well as his siblings Peter (Susan), Marie-Hélène (Douglas), Jacqueline (Andy, decd.) and Louise (Bryan). He was predeceased by his father Roland and his older brother Henri (Lalhumi). Throughout his life, Charles was a source of strength, calm and wisdom for his family and friends. He was devoted to his family and was a truly loving and proud father. He was happiest when sharing time with the people he loved. After graduating from Carleton University in 1976, Charles built successful companies in furniture manufacturing and commercial real estate in partnership with his brother, Peter. In his work, Charles was well-respected for his fair and reliable character, astute business instincts, thoughtfulness and patience. His values, resilience and love will carry on shaping our lives, and he will continue to live on in our hearts each day.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa) on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 5:30pm-8:30pm. All are also welcome to join the family at the funeral service at the same location which will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 10:00am, followed by a reception and luncheon at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charles may be made to a charity that is meaningful to you.
